This adorable little girl is my great-niece (or is is grand-niece?). I made this quilt for her when she was born two years ago. (I wrote about it here on my other blog.) Her mama posted this picture today and told me that Lucy drags this quilt wherever she goes. She sleeps with it and drags it around the house with her.
And obviously, it's the perfect quilt to snuggle with while reading a good book!
It makes my quilter's heart happy to see someone (even a two year old!) loving and using a quilt I made for them. Thanks to Lucy's mama for posting the picture and letting me share it!
That's EXACTLY what a quilter wants, isn't it? ;-) Adorable great (grand?) niece - and quilt.
